This was last July, in a little while the man asked me if I had any objections of him taking my picture. I told him if the camera could stand the ordeal, twas right with one. A short time later, they bid me good day , and I thought no more of the incident. A few days before Christmas I received this picture with this note inside, - Dear Mr. Rastall. This to to hope that Christmas finds you as happy as I am sure were last summer when you sat on the boat, and watched across the river. Sincerely Richard & Olive Jackman, 224 Cortland, Highland Paark, Mich. Well we sure was suprised, and it goes to show that there are some real people left in the war torn world. 3-10-43.
